SAFE (Safe Alternative for Electricity)
The SAFE group was started in April 2007 by concerned residents living in close proximity to the proposed 35 mile (56km) long 220kv Power line from Flagford Carrick on Shannon to Srananagh/Ballysumaghan (near Sooey) Co Sligo.

Tsawwassen Residents Against Higher Voltage Overhead Lines” (TRAHVOL) is a grass roots, community based organization of responsible Tsawwassen citizens formed in early December, 2004 to intervene in and oppose the present BCTC project proposal for the “Vancouver Island Transmission Reinforcement Project” (VITR).

HOPE (Homeowners Opposing Power-line Encroachment) was founded in 2001 by homeowners and property owners along the Dallas Highway corridor in west Cobb County. Since this time H.O.P.E. has grown to become a statewide organization.

Campaign for Planning Sanity "Planning Sanity was set up to help local communities tackle adverse planning and development applications that threaten to blight their communities. The site is set up in forums, each forum is intended to be a complete unit providing all the resources needed for that topic." "Elizabeth Mann is an active volunteer and long-term Revolt supporter. She was a leading opponent of the Barningham Moor wind farm in the Pennines, which was eventually rejected. Her story and advice for objectors is captured in her self-sponsored book Force 10 and a new supplement (November 2005) which counters the government's supplement to PPS22. Elizabeth is also an active member of CPRE in County Durham."
