Pylon Watch

*Pylonwatch - NGC access points Picton - Shipton*

NGC require access routes for their contractor AMEC to install the proposed line. These routes are subject to agreement with landowners. NGC also require highways and planning permission for associated road works. NGC’s recent plans show 68 access points on the Picton - Shipton section, to serve the pylons shown in the left-most column below. The points are referenced by the lowest pylon number, e.g. A/02 at Kay House Lane, Picton. Any other access points, such as shown on older plans, could change the pylons served. Here we set out the 68 access points in stages with telephone numbers for people to report any local activity.

*status code: A = amended; D = deferred; G = granted; P = plotted (prepared); R = refused. Approvals are usually granted with Conditions and for a Temporary period.  09/05/2000
